How to use the calculator

Enter the monthly price, percentage, and flat fee you want to test for each platform. This page does not publish competitor fee percentages, because those figures go stale. Confirm every number on that company’s own pricing page before you decide. Payloadz charges no transaction fee. PayPal processing is separate. Start with a $1 trial for 14 days.

Migration checklist: Gumroad, Payhip, or E-junkie → Payloadz

Use this checklist when moving delivery to Payloadz. Payloadz is seller of record—rebuild tax workflows if you relied on Gumroad MoR or Payhip VAT tools.

Before you migrate

• Export product list, files, and customer emails from your current platform (per their current export tools).
• Document current fee economics with this calculator or the Payloadz vs. Gumroad comparison.
• Confirm PayPal account is ready for live sales and refund policy is written.
• Read Payloadz software review for fit and limitations.

Setup on Payloadz

• Start with a $1 trial for 14 days.
• Recreate each SKU: title, price, description, deliverable file(s).
• Generate buy links or buttons for your site, email, or link-in-bio.

Test purchase (required)

• Run a live or sandbox PayPal transaction for each product type (ZIP, PDF, audio).
• Verify download on desktop and mobile; confirm file opens correctly.
• Test refund in PayPal and confirm delivery access matches your policy.

Cutover

• Update links in email sequences, course platforms, social bios, and SEO pages.
• Keep old platform pages live with redirects or sunset notices until analytics show traffic moved.
• Notify existing customers only if policy requires—new sales use Payloadz links.

After migration

• Monitor first 30 days: failed downloads, support tickets, fee actuals vs. estimates.
• File sales tax / VAT as seller of record (or via your tax software)—Payloadz does not remit tax.
• Re-run fee math quarterly; vendor pricing changes without notice.
